ABOUT THE AWARD

The inaugural Diana Torossian Emerging Songwriter Award is open to all songwriters who are aspiring to make a career in the music industry and have started to establish a commercial body of work.

Entrants must be APRA AMCOS members based in Australia who are committed to a career as a songwriter. 

 

PRIZES

FIRST PRIZE

First prize consists of:

  • A$5,000 cash prize
  • 5x songwriting sessions with DNA, Michael Fatkin, Gary Pinto, Evie Irie and Andrew Lowden
  • 5x mentoring sessions with Sammie Walsh (Beehive PR), Paul Harris (Warner Music Australia), Michael Parisi, Lorrae McKenna (Golden Grants) and Rachel Kelly (Unified)


SECOND PRIZE

Enrolment in the twelve-month career development course ‘Songwriter Success Masterplan’ at the Australian Songwriters Conference (valued at A$6,500).
