Art Music Fund 2026 - Australia

This form is for use by Australian APRA members seeking to submit an application for the 2026 Art Music Fund.

The Art Music Fund exists to commission new work that is innovative, displays professional compositional craft and represents a benchmark of excellence in its field. These works must have committed partners to ensure the work is presented multiple times with the intention to create a long artistic life for the work and by extension its composer.

• Reach & Impact

Please read the eligibility requirements below before starting your application.

Eligibility Criteria:

• You must be a member of the Australasian Performing Right Association (APRA).
• If you are an Australian composer, you must also be a financial member of the Australian Music Centre.
• This application must be for a new work, composition of which has not yet commenced.

Previous applicants with overdue/outstanding acquittals are ineligible.

Applications close Monday 16, February 2026 at 11:59PM AEDT.

All applicants will be advised of the outcome of their application the week of May 5, 2026.
